Hi, I’m looking for a developer to create a website for personalized children’s books.

I already have the books fully designed and illustrated. The AI does not need to create the book or illustrations from scratch.

I have already tested the personalization process manually and it works well.

The current process is:

I have an image containing several poses of the illustrated main character.
The customer provides a clear photo of their child.
Both images are sent to an AI image editor with a fixed prompt.
The AI changes the illustrated character to resemble the child while keeping the same art style, clothes, poses and expressions.
I then use the personalized character poses inside the existing book.

I will provide you with:

the original character pose image
a sample child photo
the AI result I achieved
the exact prompt I currently use

What I need initially is very simple:

I want a website where a customer can:

Choose a book → enter the child’s name → upload their photo or select from set choices to create an avatar → place an order/pay.

Behind the scenes, I want the child’s photo and my character-pose image to be automatically sent to an AI image API using my existing prompt, and for the personalized character image to be generated.

I also need a simple admin area where I can see:

the order
child’s name and photo
generated character image
regenerate it if needed
approve the order

At first, I do not need the whole book to be generated automatically. My designer can manually place the generated character into the book after I approve it.

Later, if the website is successful, I may automate more of the book-production process.

The most important first step is simply to automate what I am currently doing manually with AI.

which platform you recommend for the website

    Hi Qyam Alhuda,

    We recently reviewed a very similar personalized storybook requirement involving the same workflow — existing illustrated character poses + child photo + fixed AI editing prompt, followed by admin approval before manual book production.

    We had recommended validating the existing input images/prompt through an API first, before committing the full website around it, and would take the same approach here.

    Just to clarify, is this a repost/continuation of the earlier project, or is this a separate implementation?

    Happy to review your existing input/output examples and prompt to confirm the best API approach.

    Hi Qyam, for each order, should the generated character image be treated as a single approved asset that can be reused across the book, or do you expect different poses/outputs to be generated and approved separately before your designer places them into the pages?

    To start immediately, we’d need:

    - Original character pose image
    - Sample child photo
    - Your successful AI output example
    - Exact prompt currently used
    - Book/product assets for the first title
    - Domain/hosting access or preferred setup
    - Payment gateway details
    - Any admin workflow preferences for regenerate/approve

    Once these are received, we can begin immediately.

    1. Do you need the generated character image immediately after upload, or only after the order/payment is completed?

    2. Should customers be able to preview and approve the generated character before purchasing?

    3. How many different books and character styles will be available at launch?

    4. Will each book have its own character pose image and prompt, or will the same workflow apply to all books?

    5. Should customers upload only one child photo, or multiple photos for better accuracy?
