I would like to build a simple tool which allows users to see how their graphics/image would look if it was printed onto perforated film. The tool would work as follows...
1. User asked to upload image file in PDF format or Jpg
2. User selects the dimensions of the print (in mm)
3. User selects the perforation hole pattern and transparency (there will be 5-7 options)
4. The perforations are overlaid on the image file as a pattern of grey dots (there is a different pattern depending on the oprion selected under 3.)
5. The final image is shown to the user with a simple device to zoom in and out, left/right and up/down. Ideally the zoom setting will be described in terms of a viewing distance from the printed graphic (the closer you get to the graphic the more likely you can see the holes/dots)
Please can I get a quote for the overall tool and how long it would take to build. I would supply the dot patterns to overlay to the graphics. The image below is a close-up photo of perforated film to see how it looks.
