Description
Experience Level: Expert
As mentioned above, the second milestone is for the dynamic content for the Front End. This includes:
• The Newsflow (Forum Topics) module at top right and everything that that entails such as the fact that each user, once logged on will be able to add content to the newsflow. The newsflow needs to have a similar look and feel to the rest of the site (font, colour e.t.c)
• The streaming of video. I will upload a video today to see if you can use it. I also need to be able to have the ability to upload Word or PDF documents to be assigned to each video.
• Whenever anyone enters the URL (whether logged in or not) a video should start playing directly and automatically in the large “Obama”-box (like in www.bbcmotiongallery.com) There will be no sound and I have yet to edit this video but it will be promotional. For the moment, you can just use the video that I upload today.
• The lightboxes for Register and Login need to be sorted out as per my jpgs. i.e they need to have the same look and feel as the rest of the site in terms of colour and font e.t.c. They should definitely not cover over the whole page.
• (Having had a look at the log-in page which currently loads, I wonder if it would not be easier to include something like the sign-in drop down tab on a website like this www.cacoo.com (which by the way is an excellent website for wireframes e.t.c) What do you think?)
• The content for the Das Grammar section needs to have the appropriate tabs. These are as follows and each tab will lead to a static Wikipedia type content page explaining the grammar. In this order:
Nouns
Verbs
Pronouns
Adjectives
Adverbs
Prepositions
Conjunctions
Interjections
• The content for the Facebook module I have yet to decide on. It would only be a link to write directly to the site or just a link to a facebook page and will most likely be an image of something.
• Each of the tabs on the bottom row will link to a static content page for each thing (About, Terms of Service e.t.c)
