Description
Experience Level: Expert
* THIS IS A MODIFIED POST TO EXPLAINE BETTER WHAT WE ARE NEEDING*
Hi,
I am the director of A.I.H. Ltd and we are looking for a talented web development freelancer to join our team.
What we require is someone who is not in the same time zone as us in the UK. Reason being we need work done during our night time to improve productivity.
*We are looking for the freelancer to be available to do any work that we send and start on it immediately and get it done ASAP. We are not looking for someone who only has a couple of hours a day available and the work we send staggered over many days or weeks.
* The proposal you are quoting for is more an availability price and with some work attached to it. (You still get paid that amount agreed even if you do not get sent any work) For example you can be working on someone else's website or your own website, but when we send you work, you start on our work and make it priority over what you are already doing. In other words we do not want to hear "I will get on it as soon as I finish this other site".
* You will get paid for what we/you deem as more than expected work, but you also take into account anytime that you got paid for only being available.
* The projects sent to you will all be on AVADA and if you have not worked on AVADA please do not think you can do this job as we are AVADA specialists and it needs to be done by the book for our quality assured guarantee to our clients. In other words do not waste our time and your time if you are not at least knowledgeable with AVADA. Instant reasons to be dismissed is adding code where AVADA already has the settings to do it. Adding plugins that does what AVADA already does. Not using the custom default setting across the website and adding it separately across all the elements. (We do not expect you to know everything, but when unsure you just need to ask and we will point you in the correct direction)
* We work on FIXED PRICE, We do not work per hour as something that may take you 40 hours to build, may only take us 12 hours. Hence we do not pay for hours that are caused by inexperience on the AVADA theme. That may sound harsh, but I know myself when you are experienced with AVADA you can build a site far faster than when you first start using the theme or had limited experience.
* Samples of work that will be sent to you.
"Here is a website "X" we do not have access, copy it with AVADA on this "Domain". Here are you logins and password, AVADA is already installed and a demo is in place to start you off.
"Here is a website "X" that is needing finished, here is the list of changes and also make it responsive to all devices".
* We do not hand out FTP access or anything like that unless we have asked you to add code. All work can be done on the website itself. We use our own hosting and things like caching and optimisations are done by us on the hosting, not on the website. You do not add any plugins to the website except those supplied by AVADA and any we installed for you. If you require anything, you ask first before adding.
* If we do not give you a design to follow, we expect you to craft the website to your own design to achieve a website that matches the clients business.
* So what do you get in return? We will agree on a price for the first month for availability and some work. If we have very little for you to do, you still get paid. I know we have a simple website that needs finished urgently and have no one available just now, so that will be your first task.
If you are good at what you are doing and we are giving you more work, it will be as follows. You finish the first months work and if you have done more than reasonably expected for the price, you will receive a new contract for the following month at an increased rate agreed by both of us. In the second month you receive less/no work than the first month, you still get paid the new agreed cost. (Swings and roundabouts)
What we will expect as time goes on is that you are at your limit to what you can do in a month and in which case you will be given an X amount to do what you can. Then we will see if you want us to fund an agency for you to which you will be the manager and take on freelancers to work for you. (You will be responsible for the quality of the work and sticking to time scales) By which time you will be given a budget for each project and its up to you what you pay your freelancers to ensure you make money from it too.
* Below is the previous post for reference. Above is just clarifying a few things. Make sure you address anything asked for AND PLEASE QUOTE THE PRICE YOU WANT FOR THE FIRST MONTH. IF YOU REPLY "LETS NEGOTIATE OR SEND ONE PRICE ON THE PROPOSSAL AND ANOTHER WITHIN THE PROPOSAL OR ATTACHED TO IT, I WILL DECLINE IT NO MATTER WHAT ELSE YOU SAY.
If you know code to high standards it will be an advantage.
WE DO NOT WANT AGENCIES.
Good Luck!
