Web Dev needed to create ONLINE HOURLY BOOKING MARKETPLACE WEBSITE

It specifically needs to have the feature of booking hourly

Website – Booking Website For Different Music Studios

*It is vital that the website is able to house different types of users with different privileges and permissions

- Recording Studio
- Artist
- SuperUser / Admin (me)

Main page (first page they come on to):
Will be a large musical picture of inside a studio (I will source picture) and there will be a box in the middle of the screen saying: are you a [Recording Studio] or [Artist]. Once selected it will say login or register.

There will be a fee to register (to be confirmed) for recording studios

For artists we need details – Username, Full name, email address, password, telephone number, date of birth, address, postcode

Once their account is created they can edit their profile from their login control panel which will have options to link to Facebook,gmail,Twitter, etc ... Add a picture, write a little bio
It will also have an account history of bookings, a user star

For recording studio we need details – username, password, Studio Name, Address, email address, telephone number, bank details (to setup the direct debit and collect the registration fee), Type of studio.

Before their profile can be verified they will need to upload min 3 pictures of the studio, provide details about the studio, what extra services provided, price lists and availability
*these can be changed from their login control panel system*

Both the recording studio and the artist will have a star rating and a feedback on their page including ones they have written out for others. (Similar to how eBay does their feedback on profile page)


Control panel page:

Artist – only options here are to change things about profile, update contact details etc …

Recording Studio – has the same as artist and options to change the availability of the calendar booking, prices, add special deals n discounts,update bank details, pay subscription fees.

SuperUser (ME) – Has the ability to control everything, every aspect of the website and change things on others pages.


How to search –

You can do a radius search within your area ( type in your postcode and within how many miles you want ) and you can do a username search if you know the specific name of the studio you're looking for. You will also be able to select between 2 dates period or a specific date so only studios with availability show up

Advanced Search options include –

Search by rating/feedback score
Search by extra features offered
Type of studio (home studio, professional studio, live band setup studio)
Musical type preference (as not every studio/producer caters for every type of music)

Filter options include:

Distance to you
Price high to low
Price low to high
Biggest Discount
Most popular


On the search page –

The search parameters will show at the top above the results so that the user can see what it is they used to search and so they can easily change it if needed

The results will show one above another and have their own individual boxes as portrayed below.

Underneath will be the booking calendar with all the options to book etc

At the bottom of the page it may show a slideshow of alternative studios like the current one.
