Description

Experience Level: Entry
We need a developer to create a single responsive landing page for an existing ecommerce/design website for a Halloween event campaign.

All creative work is already supplied: complete copy, page structure, visual layout, brand assets and existing website styles. No copywriting, branding or original design work is required.

The page consists of five simple alternating content sections using existing brand assets/styles, plus two competition entry forms.

Required:

Build page within/on existing website
Desktop, tablet and mobile responsive
Follow supplied layout and existing website styling
Two simple competition entry forms
Form submissions stored/exportable or reliably delivered by email
Separate unticked marketing-consent checkbox
Basic spam protection
Simple submission confirmation
Basic page title/meta information
Page to have its own permanent URL
Testing and deployment

Not required:

Figma design
Separate website or admin
Bespoke CMS functionality
Competition-management dashboard
Custom analytics development
Live word counter

All copy, artwork and layout supplied.
Required turnaround: 3–4 days.

    1. Will you provide WordPress/admin access to the existing website, or will the page need to be developed on a staging site first?
    2. For the two competition forms, should submissions be delivered by email only, or would you also like them stored in WordPress so they can be exported later?

    - Should entries be delivered only by email, or would you also like them stored in the existing WordPress database for later export?

    - How should the marketing-consent checkbox be handled? Should the checkbox remain completely optional and unticked by default, as specified?
