Description
Experience Level: Expert
Hi,
We need an experienced WordPress / hosting / server expert to urgently investigate and fix a recurring 403 Forbidden issue on our live restaurant website:
https://escobarbalna.com/
https://www.escobarbalna.com/
The website was working before, but now it sometimes shows:
403 Forbidden — Access to this resource on the server is denied
This happened yesterday at almost the same time as well, so we believe it may be caused by a recurring server, hosting, security, firewall, cron job, backup, cache, redirect, or permission issue.
We need someone who can check and fix the root cause, not just temporarily make the site work.
Tasks:
Investigate why the website is showing 403 Forbidden
Check server / hosting configuration
Check domain and www / non-www setup
Check SSL and redirect rules
Check .htaccess
Check WordPress siteurl and home URL settings
Check file and folder permissions
Check ModSecurity / firewall / IP blocking / country blocking
Check WordPress security plugins or cache plugins
Check server error logs around the exact time the issue happened
Check if any cron job, backup process, malware scan, or scheduled task is triggering the issue
Make sure escobarbalna.com and www.escobarbalna.com point to the correct website
Set up proper 301 redirect if needed
Confirm the website works from different devices/networks
Explain clearly what caused the issue and what was changed
Important:
Please do not only say “it works on my side.”
We need the actual root cause identified and fixed so this does not happen again.
This is a live restaurant website, so the job is urgent.
Please apply only if you have strong experience with:
WordPress
cPanel / hosting panels
DNS
SSL
.htaccess
server permissions
ModSecurity / firewall rules
debugging 403 errors
server logs
Please include in your proposal:
Have you fixed recurring 403 Forbidden errors before?
What would you check first?
Can you start immediately?
How long do you think the investigation would take?
What access would you need?
Thanks.
website is hosted on hostinger.
please apply with your price and how much for the job.
