Urgent AI Integration Bug Fix for Website

I need an experienced developer to fix an urgent issue with the AI integration on my website.

The AI service is connected and responding, but several bugs are preventing it from working correctly in production.

Current issues include:

* AI responses are inconsistent and sometimes fail to display.
* Some API requests are returning unexpected errors even though the credentials are valid.
* Conversation history is not being maintained correctly between requests.
* Frontend occasionally gets stuck in a loading state after submitting a prompt.
* Error handling needs to be improved so failures are reported gracefully instead of breaking the interface.

The project is not to build a new AI integration—only to identify and fix the existing bugs.

Requirements:

* Experience with AI APIs (OpenAI or similar)
* JavaScript/TypeScript experience (React/Next.js preferred)
* Ability to debug API requests and frontend/backend integration
* Clean, well-documented fixes
