Experience Level: Intermediate
This project is for some relatively basic coding work - PHP or ASP considered, please specify which you think best and I will arrange hosting. I cannot describe the exact service offered yet due to non disclosure agreements, but this will be given when a bid is selected. The site will do as follows:
1) User A registers an account and completes some basic details. They then save these and a reference number is given.
2) User B then uses that reference to access their 'side' and complete their own details. Some data is shared, but most of the info displayed is user specific. Once user B has completed their info, a completed record appears for us to process.
3) On the administration login we will have a basic back office where we can see completed records and half completed records (where User A has created an account, but User B has not added their details). Our staff can then work through a check list, completing stages and ticking them off as they go.
4) When everything is ticked, an A4 PDF is generated with full details of the transaction and emailed to User A and User B.
The system needs to allow customers to login and track the progress of their file, which will show stages with ticks / crosses as we work through. Look and feel wise I want this to be as up to date as possible - Web 2.0 interactivity and functionality, so something along the lines of Confused.com , adding a listing on gumtree.com, etc. It must feel very slick!
The initial site as you see is quite simple, but more work may follow to add functionality / progress the site further. Please post examples of your work if possible and be as specific as you can in your bid. Thanks in advance and I look forward to hearing from you
