Project Overview:
We are a multi-location healthcare practice operating three distinct physical clinics (Beckenham, Central London, and Orpington). Over time, our WordPress/Elementor website has accumulated massive bloat, keyword cannibalization, and redundant hyper-local satellite pages (leading to over 130 messy indexed URLs).
We need a hands-on WordPress and Technical SEO expert who can actually go into our backend, slash our page count down to a clean, high-performing core of ~25–30 active URLs, map out a foolproof 301-redirect strategy, and clean up technical indexing errors.
What You Will Be Doing (Scope of Work):
1. WordPress Site Architecture Restructuring: Collapse our bloated multi-page structure down into a clean hierarchy consisting of:
Global core pages (Home, About Us, Fees & Booking, FAQs, Contact, Blog, etc.)
7 Clean Master Service Pages (Acupuncture, Biomechanical Assessment, Cranial Osteopathy, Gait Analysis, Osteopathy, Clinical Pilates, Sports Massage)
A central Conditions Hub
Exactly 3 Physical Clinic Pages (Beckenham, Central London, Orpington), which will act as local hubs listing the treatments offered at each location and linking over to our master service pages via internal anchor links.
2. 301 Redirect Mapping & Execution: Review our existing URL inventory, permanently delete redundant/outdated satellite neighborhood pages and minor condition duplicates, and implement a comprehensive 301-redirect map pointing them cleanly to our 3 core clinic hubs or master service pages inside WordPress.
3. Technical Bloat Cleanup: Purge WordPress trash pages, block unnecessary plugin asset folders (e.g., Elementor asset paths) via ⁠robots.txt⁠ or security/SEO plugins, and clear out Google Search Console indexing bloat.
4. Hands-On Implementation: This is not just an auditing role; we need someone who can directly execute these changes, clean up menus, and apply redirects within WordPress/Elementor.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Expert-level WordPress & Elementor experience, with a proven track record in site restructuring, URL consolidation, and database cleanups.
Deeply experienced in 301-redirect mapping and execution for service-based or multi-location businesses.
Strong grasp of local SEO architecture (managing local clinic pages versus national service pages to prevent keyword cannibalization).
Proficient in managing Google Search Console indexing issues and technical backend cleanup.
