Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: 1 day or less
General information for the website: Clothing site under development
Description of requirements/features: Please read fully before applying as the nature of the set up is not standard.
Joomla! - 3.6.2 Stable
PHP - 5.6.18
MySQL - 5.6.31
HikaShop Business 2.6.3
Hikashop places radio buttons on the products page to select the variations of colour and size.
The HikasShop code uses the Joomla framework to generate these radio buttons.
The code for the generation is in the core files and can not be directly amended, but the developer of HikaShop has suggested the possible use of Joomla Extends to achieve the desired result.
There is no preference if this is achieved by using extends or amending the view that calls the function. But would like to keep it to PHP and not use Javascript.
Already Tried:
1) Amending the view to replace the code with BootStrap code. There is a conflict between Bootstrap JS calls and the call required when the radio button is clicked.
2) Custom code and CSS - almost works, but I could not get the style of label related to a 'checked' input to change (if you can get this to work then perfect). I will apply the example code.
Example of what it desired is the size selection on this page:
http://www.plumo.com/products/Sea-velvet-dress.html
Extra notes: Developers with knowledge of HikaShop preferred. Please do not pretend to have worked with HikaShop if you have not.
