Description
Experience Level: Entry
Hi,
We're looking for a proficient WPress/ Yoast/Events Calendar/ Google developer who can help us with an issue we've had for a while.
We publish events on our Wordpress website, using Event's Calendar plugin, and use Yoast SEO to support our keywords and search-ability.
However on our events we are consistently having issues where on indexing on Google Search Console, 2 items have warnings. Specifically the event status and performer. So we are not showing up on a Google search as a legitimate event.
Under Yoast SEO we are able to identify the 'organiser' and the event status as 'scheduled', however these lines aren't pulling through to the Yoast Schema Graph on inspection, so as a result this details isn't being crawled when indexing.
I have tried adding the relevant code to the header of each event (as it's different each time) however as this code appears so far down the crawl, and Yoast is ahead of it, it's still being indexed incorrectly.
We'd like some support on either:
a - fixing Yoast so that the relevant info on the Yoast Schema is displaying on crawl
b - help inserting the code so that it precedes the Yoast code
