Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: 1 - 2 weeks
The client has a trading webapp they want to bring to the mobile market. The client is looking for someone who can appreciate the following. YOU MUST BE WILLING TO ATTEND DESIGN MEETINGS IN THE CITY OF LONDON.
1) A strong separation between HTML and CSS, where the HTML defines the logical structure of the page and CSS supplies the look at feel. The CSS designer will be solely responsible for the CSS files but the structure of the HTML will agreed between the CSS designer and the site developer and should be regarded as relatively fixed and changed only by agreement
2) A fluid/responsive layout will be required which adapts automatically to any change in the browser size without needing horizontal scroll bars. This goes beyond the earlier PC/mobile split and has to handle desktops/laptops/tablets/mobiles of a variety of screen sizes.
and also
3) The code has already been developed using a JavaScript framework, so the CSS coder will *not* be free to introduce another one without extensive discussion. The development of library free CSS should be assumed.
4) Experience and sympathy with a 'mobile first' design and coding approach would be helpful
You will be able to attend the clients London offices for an initial consultation, later meetings, and provide a fixed quote for your services if a project can be agreed upon.
