What technology stack would you recommend for building this reusable affiliate and product-comparison platform, and why?

I’ve gone through the full specification and just wanted to clarify one point before putting together a quotation.

I noticed the project is currently listed at £400. Is that the intended budget for the complete platform described in the specification, or is it a placeholder/starting budget while you gather quotations?

Also, for the first release, are you expecting areas such as automation, advertising, external content integrations and the car-specific tools to be fully operational, or would you prefer the initial build to focus on the core catalogue, comparison, affiliate offers, content and SEO, with the wider architecture prepared for those features later?

Could you please confirm whether the attached plan already defines the core reusable modules and database structure, or would you like the developer to propose the multi-niche architecture as part of the quotation? That will help me scope the initial automotive site while ensuring future niches can be launched mainly through configuration and content.

For the reusable platform would you like the first version to include a flexible CMS where products, merchants, affiliate links, specifications and comparison data can all be managed and imported (CSV/API) without requiring code changes for future niches?

- How do you expect the initial product catalogue to be created and maintained? Will the car-technology products initially be entered manually through the CMS, imported through CSV/JSON files, or populated through merchant/affiliate feeds?

- How should merchant offers and affiliate data be managed when automated integrations are unavailable?

Do you already have the product, merchant, affiliate and editorial data ready for import, or would you expect the developer to build the import structure and also handle the initial data setup?

How would you like the product comparison to work — based on specifications, price, features, ratings, or a combination of these? I’ve worked on similar product-comparison functionality before, so please let me know what type of comparison system you’re looking for and whether you have any reference websites or examples you’d like me to follow.

When the same product appears differently across Amazon, eBay and other merchant feeds, should we maintain one master product record in the CMS and map merchant listings to it using identifiers such as GTIN/EAN, ASIN, SKU or model number, with uncertain matches held for manual review?

A few questions from my side:

-Do you already have the hosting/GitHub setup, or should we handle the initial setup?
-For the first launch, should we focus mainly on Dash Cams + CarPlay/Android Auto and keep other categories ready for later?
-Do you want the quotation split into core platform + first automotive website + optional modules?

For the first launch, do you expect product data to be entered manually through the admin panel, or should CSV/API import automation be included from day one?
