Shopify store needs responsive grid/media gallery with links for 1 page

This is currently a fudge - I created a single file containing the photo and the text and placed it into a column. I like the way it is laid out currently, but it is not responsive, has lines between each row and does not have click through links.
I would like to set up this page as a responsive grid so that there are 9 images (3x3 on a large screen, but to stack or similar on a mobile) each with a Title and then text under that. Each box (photo and text) should be the same height regardless of the number of lines of text i.e. white space if there is less writing. Each box is to be a link to another page on the same website.
To aim for:
I like the look of the boxes on https://www.picmonkey.com/blog/picmonkey-tutorials (the boxes with text underneath, however NOT offset from each other as here, but all lined up. I like the background behind the boxes having the same colour as the bar background (mine is #f6f6f6))
Extra notes: Prepare a new page - call it Conceptnew and make sure it is hidden
Images: Use one single image 9 times (I can change the images later). The images are square.
