## Shopify Website Build Required for Startup Sports Equipment Brand

We are looking for an experienced Shopify developer/designer to build a clean, professional ecommerce website for a new UK-based sports equipment startup.

We already have:

* A Shopify account set up
* A domain name
* A logo/brand identity
* Initial product mockup images
* One main product ready to be added initially
* Basic brand direction and website structure in mind

We are moving away from an existing basic website setup and want the new site built properly on Shopify.

Your quote should include all of the following:

* Product page setup for our initial product

* Additional simple information pages as required
* Domain connection/DNS support
* Basic payment setup guidance
* Shipping and tax setup guidance
* Mobile optimisation
* Basic SEO setup for pages and product
* Email signup integration
* Social media link integration
* Product pre-order setup
* Customer reviews setup
* Affiliate or referral programme setup
* App recommendations and setup where required
* Testing before launch
* Basic handover/training so we can manage updates ourselves

### Functionality Required

The finished website should be able to support:

* Selling one initial product
* Product pre-orders
* Customer reviews
* Email capture/mailing list signup
* Affiliate or referral programme
* Simple content pages
* Future expansion to a small number of additional products

We do not want unnecessary complexity. The initial site should be simple, sharp, easy to use and easy for us to update ourselves.

Please quote for the full scope above, not just a basic Shopify theme installation.

Any paid Shopify themes, paid apps, subscriptions or third-party costs must be discussed and approved by us before being added.

We would like the site to be built in a way that allows us to manage basic updates ourselves after handover, such as editing text, changing images and adding products.
