Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
General information for the website: Ruby and Sinatra
Description of requirements/features: I have a ruby project that I need to do but am struggling to build it. I need help with working on it. I need guidance on how to go about it and I don't have enough knowledge to complete it. The prompt is the following:
Dean is frustrated not being able to easily see information on currently enrolled students, so she decided to ask for help. Your task for this project is to build a student tracking system that will allow a user to view all students in the system, to see all currently enrolled students (not graduated), and to see all the students that graduated. In addition, a user should also be able to see individual full records, to create new student records, to edit existing student records, and to delete a student record. The information for each student includes: lastname, firstname, major, and email address.
Your tools to accomplish this include Foundation CSS, Ruby, SQLite database, sinatra gem, and sqlite3 gem. The directory structure should resemble:
\Project1
|–>controller.rb (where you will write your controller class and use sinatra) |–>database.rb (where you will write your database class and use sqlite3) |–>student.db (student sqlite database)
|–>\views
|—–>application.erb (your base application html/css)
|—–>index.erb
|—–>show.erb
|—–>edit.erb
|—–>new.erb
|–>\public
|—–>\css
|——->app.css
|——->foundation-flex.css
|——->foundation.css
|——->foundation.min.css
|—–>\img
|——–>any images you have
|—–>\js
|——->app.js
|——->foundation.js
|——->foundation.min.js
|——->\vendor
|———>jquery.min.js
|———>what-input.min.js
let me know if you can help tutor me.
