Develop a Classic ASP form handler converted into a WordPress PHP plugin that preserves original form behaviour while integrating seamlessly with modern WP environments. Tasks include parsing ASP form submissions, securely mapping fields, recreating validation logic and email notifications. Deliver well-documented, maintainable code with activation/deactivation hooks, compatibility across recent WP versions, live and test modes and clear installation instructions.

    To get going, we would just need the current form HTML and any linked JavaScript, the full ASP handler and related files, the email template, the target WordPress/PHP version, and access to a safe staging environment.

    Once these are received, we can begin immediately.

    1. Should the WordPress plugin preserve the exact same form fields, validation rules, and email workflow as the current Classic ASP handler, or are you open to modernizing any part of the process?

    2. Will the plugin need to remain compatible with the existing frontend form, or can we rebuild the form using native WordPress functionality?

    3. How would you like submissions to be stored—WordPress database, email only, or both?

    4. Is there an existing staging WordPress site where we can develop and test the plugin before deploying it live?
