Description
Experience Level: Expert
I work for a pharmacy training company based in Nottingham and we're looking at redeveloping our website and student portal so that it is much cleaner and easier to use.
My thoughts are that the website should be responsive, whereas the student login area should have it's own mobile web application built for it (particularly focusing on tablet use.
I already have a few photoshop 'mock up' files to give an idea of the content/layout/functionality we had in mind (attached), however we would be open to suggestion on the final design, and would like to get more of an idea on the cost and technologies you will be building the site with. Unfortunately we cannot use php on our server and therefore am looking for the design and development to be in html/css/jquery(mobile). We would be looking to take over the maintenance of the site once developed but would benefit from some support for a limited period following completion.
As this is a large project, it would be broken down and reviewed periodically. The initial phase of the project would be the development of our main website. Websites that I like the style of are (www.edx.org) and we would like to have a 'search courses' function similar to here (https://www.coursera.org/courses). Even though there is no set deadline - I need to see notable progress being made. I rate user experience very highly and look to see the use of jquery/jquery mobile or similar(particularly for web app development) so that the user has the an 'app-like' experience.
I look forward to hearing from you
