Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
General information for the website: Jewellery
Num. of web pages/modules: 2
Description of requirements/features: The project is to develop a website-based app for an iOS tablet device to allow customers within a retail store to customise a certain style of jewellery.
The project will have two different builders - Bracelets and Rings.
I expect the code to be PHP MySQL based with the styles and options in a database table.
Bracelets:
(See Attachment)
This page will be 100% height and width of a tablet (doesn't scroll). It contains a slider of product images, horizontal accordion for each customisation option.
1) A user uses a finger to scroll left or right to select a style.
2) The user clicks one of the accordion tabs and selects an option. The image changes to the same style with the correct combination of options. For example: Style 1 with Gold Finish will display the relevant image of that style.
3) Price changes when options are selected.
4) Finish button slides the options away from view and the image central on the page to complete.
Rings:
The ring module is almost identical however rings are stacked. So the slider shows 4 products rather than 1 basically.
Next to each ring is a 'Customise' button, where that specific ring is highlighted and the horizontal accordion below applies options for that specific ring.
And that is it. Fairly simple! Requires a very basic backend to change names, images, options and prices. Styling for this backend is also very basic-to-none. This is just a visual framework to talk to the database and to make changes to the frontend.
Extra notes: Short turnaround. This job is relatively simple and shouldn't take the experienced developer long at all to complete.
