Resolving an error to allow us to track number of downloads

We have recently installed a download plugin to our website in order to be able to add documents and track how many people download the documents.

When we post the code into the correct page we get the following page.

We either need to fix that problem or find another way to help us achieve our goal of counting downloads from our website.
