Project Overview
We are seeking a professional to design and develop a new website that reflects our brand voice, values, and mission and smoothly drives visitors to take action, whether they are a resident looking to access an energy program, a donor wanting to make a contribution to support our work, or a potential partner trying to connect about a partnership with us. We currently use Weebly and are looking to transition to WordPress for greater functionality and ease of use. The project will involve updating the website's look and feel, and creating a functioning, user-friendly site on WordPress that our team can integrate with Salesforce. The ideal candidate will have experience revamping existing websites with a modest nonprofit budget.
Project Goals
Showcase All In Energy’s mission, values, and capabilities to donors, business development partners, underserved communities, and potential team members.
Create a responsive, user-friendly website that encourages interaction from residents, partners, donors and job seekers.
Drive specific actions with clear calls to action (CTAs) tailored to different audiences.
Ensure the site can be easily updated and maintained by our small internal team.
More detailed website and technical goals are included below
Scope of Work
Platform Evaluation: Assess our needs and recommend a WordPress theme and potential add-ons to use in building our new site , balancing ease of use, cost-effectiveness, and long-term scalability.
Design and Development: Update the website’s design and layout to align with our brand voice and improve user engagement.
Multilingual Capabilities: Develop and implement a multilingual interface that supports non-English speaking users.
SEO and Analytics Setup: Implement search engine optimization (SEO) best practices and ensure Google Analytics (or similar) is set up for performance tracking.
Responsive and Accessible Design: Ensure the website is fully responsive across all devices and complies with web accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1).
