Quick PHP/J Query task

Hello,

I need a quick task completing, I would estimate it could be completed in around an hour. I only mention the time because I need it quite quickly.

The code is in place, so, in brief :

1. You view the master product (done)
2. There is a drop down list of products (done)
3. The drop down list of products each have an id

WHAT I NEED IS :

A. The ID from the product (on select) sent back to the same page
B. The ID used to modify the SQL query so that the product is selected first

I have set everything up in a very simplfiied way, FTP access is ready. Just the front end tasks set out above.
