Description
Experience Level: Entry
I currently have Prestashop 1.7.8.11 Multistore, running 5 shops with the same product range.
There are a few issues that have arisen recently which we have no explanation for. Also, once everything is corrected, it can run for a few weeks and then another issue arises, again for no obvious reason.
The main issue are the payment options displaying on the 5 shops. Initially all payment options should apply to all shops, but we have a situation where just 1 option is showing on 1 site, 3 out of 4 on another, just 2 on another, etc. Also the Paypal ‘buy now pay later’ option is completely wrong. On some sites it just says ‘buy now pay later’, on another site it says pay in 3 instalments but the figure is incorrect, another states pay in 3 instalments on orders above a certain value.
There are a couple of cron jobs that are appearing but should have been deleted (can’t find them on server)
The abandoned cart module that we have does not appear to be working correctly and needs investigation and collaboration with module designers (Knowband)
We are receiving email messages from hosting stating “could not issue/renew Let’s Encrypt certificates for administrator”
We also have to be PCI compliant, and whilst this was previously running correctly, now their scan has resulted in a fail and needs something adjusting in hosting (probably relating to the SSl certification, ports, or encryption certificates)
It has also been noted that when the sites were redesigned, the payment logos in the footer were all the same; now some have disappeared!
A short while ago we move to a new VPS because Ubuntu needed to be updated and that was the easiest option to avoid sites being down. The database was copied and transferred but we believe that there are still old products that are no longer available that still feature (and are probably being submitted in sitemaps), this needs checking.
I am happy to provide FTP login and admin panel access if you wish to take a quick look before quoting. This task is being posted in general to all Prestashop multistore specialists, and the work is required to be carried out as soon as possible.
Whilst these are the initial issues affecting our sites, there are always issues arising. It is hoped that if we find the right freelancer, that we will continue to work with them ongoing. Our next tasks will probably be the installation and configuration of a couple of modules.
Regards,
John C
