Description

Experience Level: Entry
We have a PHP based web application for our customers to manage their account. In three pages we have datatables, but they are not performing as expected.

When clicking the column title (to sort ascending/descending) it seems to sort at a fairly random order. Sometimes it's ascending, sometimes it's descending, sometimes it's something else!

We're sure this is a pretty simple bug, but we're having no luck resolving it internally. Looking for someone who can get this resolved fairly quickly. We have other pieces of work to do on the system, so if this goes well, there will be more to pass on to the developer!

    Hello There,

    What framework your web application was developed with?

    "Sometimes it's ascending, sometimes it's descending, sometimes it's something else!"
    I expect that one click should sort in ascending order, clicking again should be descending, and the third click should be unsorted. This should be standard behaviour unless you require something else.
