Description
WyDay has a payment form already, and they integrate with PayPal and an automated email with the license key. It does require a bit of development coding to set up, and we are hoping you can help us.
Here are their resources/instructions to do it:
https://wyday.com/limelm/help/how-to-generate-product-keys-after-order/
https://wyday.com/limelm/help/automate-license-generation-with-paypal
For further customisation, we need to be able to take the Payment Form offered by WyDay's LimeLM system and:
1. Customise it with our new PTF logo/colours (simple stuff i.e. upload the new logo into the payment form at a minimum, not sure we need much else as long as their form is decent looking, I havent seen it)
2. Adjust the WyDay form's payment settings to reflect our base annual subscription offer to our existing Members' list which will be:
e.g. show a $599/year subscription with a 50% discount applied in perpetuity to result in an offer of $299/year. We also want to offer these existing customers the ability to subscribe now and give us their credit card details in PayPal, but not be charged until 30 days have passed, then every 12 months after that initial charge unless cancelled by email to us. That way we can market to them as "no-risk 30-day free trial, just subscribe today and cancel anytime in the first 30 days and your credit card will not be charged."
PayPal has all of this functionality very easily settable. e.g. you class the transaction as a subscription, then you set the recurring frequency e.g. annually, then you set the first payment date (which can be transaction date plus 30 days).
Here is PayPal's documentation on the issue - seems very straightforward:
https://developer.paypal.com/docs/classic/paypal-payments-pro/integration-guide/recurring-payments/?mark=subscription%20payments
3. Adjust the WyDay free trial period and number of machine settings to reflect our offer (e.g. 30 days free trial and valid only on 1 machine). Currently WyDay is set with these parameters - we just need to test that they work.
4. Adjust the payment form to allow for our initial upsell - $99/year for an additional two license keys for use on two additional machines, e.g. work PC, laptop, tablet etc.
5. Integrate the form with our UK PayPal account and LimeLM's payment checking service to confirm funds receipt. The links below are from WyDay and show how to easily do this. It isn't automatic, but pretty easy I read. Then we need to test.
6. Ensure that the system then sends the successful purchaser the automatic license key generated by email, or THREE license keys if they have purchased the upsell. That needs to be reviewed in WyDay. Again, the links above show how to do it I believe.
7. Customise the success email sent in 6. above to our current text that includes all the other onboarding info we send to our new customers, i.e. just copy/paste some new text with links into the success email that contains the customers license key.
8. Re-route the successful purchaser to the pairtradefinder.com/members.html page after purchase. Currently PayPal is doing this automatically - we assume it will just continue to do so, just we need to test it.
After reviewing these links, can you let us know how if you can do it, when you can do it, and how many hours you need to do it? We are happy for you to charge on an hourly rate We do need the work quickly, however.
Best Regards,
Geoffrey Hossie

Hi, thanks for the invite. Can I ask what technologies your site is built with? Main language and database etc? Cheers
Geoff H.24 May 2017The site is HTML. The software is written in c# .net framework. We also have a WordPress blog under the main HTML site. The site is hosted on Microsoft Azure and the domain is registered at bluehost. However, we really do most marketing by email, the site is principally a squeeze page to an email opt-in for a 30 day free trial of the software. All we need right now is a functioning payment form, as described, that integrates with our UK PayPal account and the automated License Key issuance system of WyDay's Lime LM. The form can be hosted on our site or a third party site, doesn't really matter, whichever is faster and easier. Best, GH
