Description
Experience Level: Entry
We are currently using a mixture of plugins to track conversions on the Woocommerce platform. Our aim is to reduce the number of plugins in use and optimise the existing code placement, but retaining all e-commerce related conversion events. All codes appear to be working correctly, except for Bing ads which we would like to move to Google tag manager if this is possible.
The plugins we currently use:
Woocommerce conversion tracking plugin
Woocommerce google analytics integration
Google site kit
WPCode plugin
We also have some code inserted directly into the functions.php section of the website, along with code being added from our Google tag manager account. The only plugin from the list above that we would like to keep is WPCode as it is used for other functions on the website.
We need to retain all enhanced ecommerce features including basket events etc.
IMPORTANT PROJECT INFO:
All code has been extracted from the website into separate .txt files for inspection. My aim is to find a freelancer who can work with me to provide the correct code and advise on its placement. NO ACCESS will be given to the website directly, as I will work with you to place the code and test it is working correctly. Your advice regarding which plugins could be removed would be greatly appreciated inside this process.
