Description
Experience Level: Expert
Hello there,
My client wants to have an online interactive map created for them. This is the website: www.aspc-uk.net (static html website)
Here is the brief:
--
ASPC would like a new interactive map of the UK on its homepage that enables all members to be shown as a “dot” by location. As the mouse is scrolled over the dot marking the member’s location on the map, a small text box will appear that contains the Member name, Surgery Name, Surgery Address and Contact details (either website/email/tel/both).
We would like to have the member “dots” colour coded to signify which service they provide. There will be 3 categories:
Vasectomy only
Vasectomy + Other
Other -no vasectomy
We will need some sort of functionality to deal with overlapping dots in dense areas such as London. This would therefore need to involve something like the ability to zoom in on the map to differentiate between dots, or for each dot to reveal numerous boxes, one for each surgery.
We would like to be able to update the map ourselves on a monthly basis as new members join or current members amend their details. Ideally we would like an “Add/Amend Me” icon that allows the member not shown on the map or shown incorrectly to populate a small form that will be mailed automatically to the site’s info@ address.
Ideally the time limit on this project would not exceed 1 months as we are hoping to announce the launch of the new work at the ASPC conference on 18/5/2013.
--
Please could you let me know if this is something you can undertake, the turnaround and the costs involved. Thanks very much and look forward to your reply.
Regards,
Emmanuel
