Project Description:
We are looking for an experienced freelancer to help us upload and optimize approx. 1000 technical products into our WordPress + WooCommerce online store. The work involves product upload, prices & variations, technical descriptions, image optimization, on-page SEO, as well as setting up and configuring plugins required for the store’s proper functionality. Romanian language knowledge is mandatory as all product content will be in Romanian.
Requirements:
Proven experience with WordPress & WooCommerce product management
Strong skills in handling product databases and variations (sizes, prices, attributes)
Experience in SEO on-page optimization (meta titles, meta descriptions, keywords, alt tags)
Ability to convert and optimize product images into WebP format with standard size and SEO-friendly alt text in Romanian
Experience with plugin installation and configuration for WooCommerce (payments, shipping, SEO, cache, performance, etc.)
Knowledge of functional optimization for eCommerce sites (speed improvements, store usability, plugin setup)
Accuracy, responsibility, and attention to detail
Fluency in Romanian language (mandatory)
Responsibilities:

Uploading 800-1000 technical products +variations in WooCommerce
Adding correct prices and product variations
Writing and optimizing technical & functional descriptions in Romanian
Uploading and optimizing product images (WebP, SEO alt text)

Ensuring correctness, completeness, and consistency of data
Implementing SEO-friendly product pages for improved visibility

Are the products coming from a structured source such as a CSV, ERP export, or supplier database, or will the data be provided in mixed formats that need cleaning and standardization first? For variations, is there already a defined logic for attributes like size, model, or specifications, or should that structure be designed to keep the catalog scalable?
