General information for the website: We are an Email Service Provider
Description of requirements/features: Skyrocketing email service provider needs an expert administrator to come in and help with our backend mail systems. We run a mixed environment of PowerMTA, Green Arrow, Haraka, Zone-MTA and were even interested in rolling out 1000s of Postfix docker instances at one time and may bring it back with the right person.
The perfect candidate will have serious Linux expertise, years of experience delivering email on multiple MTA platforms, understanding of ISP settings, SMTP connection rates, Email Authentication technologies (Dual Dkim, DMARC, SPF) to name a few. Knowledge of IP reputation, Testing Techniques (NC/TELNET), Pattern Matching (Regex), log Processing, Bounce Parsing and Email Hygiene is a plus.
We are currently developing a brand new version of our email software that will leverage open source Message Queueing and Brokering (RabbitMQ) to pass the right messages at the right time to the right MTA. You will work to make sure the backend is as robust as the front and the middle.
You will work directly with CEO (who has been the default email admin for years) and Senior Devops staff to build a rocksolid mail serving environment.
