We’re looking for talented developers to help upgrade an existing application that was originally built using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js).

The goal is to modernise the platform using newer technologies, improve performance, scalability, maintainability, and overall user experience. We’re open to developers who can bring fresh ideas and recommend the best modern architecture and tools for the upgrade.

We’re looking for experience in areas such as:

Modern frontend development (React, Next.js, TypeScript, modern UI frameworks)
Backend architecture and API improvements
Database optimisation and migrations
Cloud infrastructure and deployment
Performance improvements and code quality enhancements
Modern software engineering practices

If you have experience upgrading legacy applications, improving existing systems, or working with modern web technologies, we’d love to hear from you.

    A Few Questions

    1. What version of React, Node.js, and MongoDB is the current application using?

    2. Are you planning to retain MongoDB, or are you open to migrating to PostgreSQL or another database?

    3. Is this primarily a technology upgrade, or are new features also planned as part of the modernization?

    4. Approximately how large is the existing codebase (modules/users)?

    5. Do you already have cloud infrastructure in place, or should we recommend and configure it?
