Description
The platform is already live, but we need to improve several areas, fix existing issues, and add new functionality required for the business.
The main focus will be improving the current Magento setup, making the store more stable, easier to manage, and better prepared for future growth.
The work involves improving product management, Magento functionality, checkout and order processes, third-party integrations, and overall platform performance.
We need help with custom Magento development, module improvements, extension adjustments, API integrations, database optimisation, and resolving technical issues within the existing system.
A big part of the work will be understanding the current setup, identifying areas that need improvement, and implementing solutions without disrupting the existing store.
The final goal is a faster, more reliable Magento store with cleaner functionality and improved user experience.

Which Magento 2 version and PHP version is the live store currently running, and are there any pending Magento security or version upgrades that need to be included in this scope?
Are the current checkout/order issues reproducible consistently, and do you know whether they started after a Magento upgrade, extension installation, payment integration change, or custom-code deployment?
How much of the existing store is custom-developed versus third-party extensions, and are there any modules that have been modified directly rather than extended through Magento’s normal override/plugin mechanisms?
Which integrations are business-critical : payment gateways, ERP/accounting, inventory, fulfilment, shipping, CRM, marketplaces and which of them currently have synchronization or API reliability problems?
For performance, do you already have measurable problem areas such as slow category/product pages, checkout latency, high database load or poor Core Web Vitals, or would you like me to establish the performance baseline during the audit?
Most importantly, what is currently causing the greatest business impact: failed/slow checkout, order-processing problems, catalogue management, integrations, site performance, or ongoing Magento errors? This would help me prioritise the first development phase around the issues affecting revenue and operations most. -

Hi Yusuf,
1. Do you already have a prioritised list of the Magento issues/features you want addressed, or would you like the developer to begin with a technical audit and recommend the priorities?
2. Also, is there currently a staging environment where extension, checkout, API and performance changes can be tested safely before deployment to the live store?
Best,
