Magento 2 Custom Attribute

Hi,

We would like to create a custom product attribute that reduces with each product sale.

So if attribute has value of 5, this will reduce to 4 after each product sale until it reaches 0.

Want to be able to set the value in product admin page. Attribute should be assigned to simple product only.

Developer required to work on their own instance of Magento 2.4.3 . We do not use the magento MSI module

Ultimately we want to create a shipping rule to display certain shipping method if custom_attribute is > 1

We have the shipping extension already that allows setting conditions/rules per product attribute
