Description
Novatech(https://novatechify.llc) is looking for a Full-Stack Developer to help us build and improve modern web applications. You will work across frontend and backend development, collaborating with designers, product team members, and other developers to turn ideas into reliable, user-friendly features.
This position is a good fit for someone who has practical programming experience and wants to continue developing their skills in a professional environment. We are not looking for someone who knows every framework or has an advanced degree. We care more about your ability to write thoughtful code, solve problems, communicate clearly, accept feedback, and learn quickly.
Programming experience may come from professional employment, freelance projects, internships, academic work, open-source contributions, coding bootcamps, or personal applications that you have built and can discuss.
What You Will Do
Develop and maintain responsive web applications using modern frontend and backend technologies.
Build user interfaces that are clear, accessible, and consistent with provided designs.
Create and integrate APIs, databases, and backend services.
Participate in the full development process, from planning and estimation through testing and deployment.
Write code that is clean, readable, maintainable, and appropriately tested.
Investigate bugs, identify root causes, and implement reliable fixes.
Review code and provide respectful, practical feedback to other developers.
Improve application performance, stability, security, and usability.
Communicate progress, technical decisions, questions, and blockers clearly.
Collaborate with designers and product team members to clarify requirements and deliver useful features.
Maintain clear technical documentation when needed.
Learn new tools and technologies as project requirements evolve.
What We Are Looking For
Practical experience building software or web applications.
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern frontend framework, such as React, Next.js, Angular, or Vue.
Experience with at least one backend language or framework, such as Node.js, Python, Java, PHP, C#, or a similar technology.
Basic understanding of APIs, databases, authentication, and client-server applications.
Familiarity with Git or another version-control system.
Ability to read existing code, understand how it works, and make careful changes.
Good problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
Ability to participate confidently in meetings, explain technical ideas, ask clear questions, and provide regular progress updates in English.
Ability to understand written requirements, technical documentation, and team communication in English.
Ability to work independently while remaining responsive and accountable in a remote environment.
Willingness to receive feedback, learn from mistakes, and support other team members.
Because English is the primary working language at Novatech, candidates must be comfortable using English in daily conversations, online meetings, written updates, technical discussions, and documentation.
Application Process
Please submit the following:
Your full name, phone number, and email address.
A current résumé.
A link to your GitHub profile, portfolio, or relevant projects, when available.
A link to a one- to two-minute introduction video.
In your introduction video, briefly introduce yourself, describe your programming experience, explain why you are interested in the role, and share what you are looking for in your next opportunity. The video should be recorded in English and may be shared through Loom, Google Drive, or another accessible platform.
Selected candidates may be invited to participate in an English-language interview, a practical technical conversation, or a reasonable coding exercise related to the work performed in this role. The purpose of the process is to understand how you approach problems, communicate decisions, and write code—not to test obscure algorithms or require unpaid production work.

Hi Haruto
I checked your job requirement and I have some questions.
What is your primary frontend and backend tech stack?
Which databases and cloud platforms do you use?
Are you working with a monorepo or multiple repositories?
What tools do you use for CI/CD and deployment?
What product or application would I be working on first?
Is the work mainly new feature development, maintenance, or both?
How large is the current development team?
What are the biggest technical challenges the team is facing?
What is your code review and testing process?
Do developers participate in architecture and technical decision-making? -

Hi Haruto,
I have a couple of questions before we proceed:
Could you please share more information about the current projects, technology stack, and whether the work will primarily involve building new features, maintaining existing applications, or both?
Do you have an established development workflow (Git, code reviews, CI/CD, Agile), and what qualities are you looking for in a long-term developer beyond the technical requirements?
Thanks,
Naresh
