Description
Stack: Laravel, Vue, MySQL
What you'll do:
Build and maintain features, write clean and maintainable code, fix bugs, and work with me on the database and API side. You'll be a real part of the project, not just one-off tasks.
What I'm looking for:
Solid hands-on experience with Laravel and Vue, comfortable with MySQL, and able to work independently once a task is clear. Good written and spoken English is important since we'll communicate often.
The workload is light and very flexible. We also provide Claude Premium.
I'm looking for someone in the UK so our working hours overlap well, and someone dependable who can commit for the long term.
Hiring process:
Before the long-term contract, I'll ask shortlisted candidates to do a small paid test task. The test pays $10 and should take about an hour. This helps me see your real coding style and how you work before we commit.
Budget: $1000 per month, ongoing, after the test.
You must be able to invest at least 3 to 4 hours a day.
To apply, share a short note about your Laravel and Vue experience and one or two projects you've worked on. Tell me your usual working hours too.
Dejohn T.

Hi,
Before moving forward, I’d like to confirm a couple of things:
1. Is the current project already in production, or still under active development?
2. Are you using Vue 2 or Vue 3 (Composition API or Options API)?
3. Do you follow a specific API structure (REST, Laravel Sanctum, etc.)?
The paid test task approach makes sense — it’s a good way to evaluate real-world coding fit before long-term engagement.
Looking forward to hearing more about the project. -

Questions
Is this an existing production application, or are you still actively building the MVP?
Which versions of Laravel, Vue, and MySQL are currently being used?
Are you using Vue 3 with Composition API, Pinia, and Vite, or an older Vue architecture?
How large is the current codebase, and how long has the project been in development?
What percentage of the work is new feature development versus bug fixing and maintenance?
Is there an established development workflow (GitHub, GitLab, CI/CD, code reviews, staging environments)?
Are there any major features or milestones already planned for the next 3–6 months?
