Experience Level: Entry
I want to create a simple wordpress website world map, where i can add pins at custom locations.
Where a pin is added, i want and info box to to be add information about that chosen pin.
I need this to be used as a type of family tree, where persons of a certain family name, can input their location and information about themselves and family, including photos.
For a person to add a pin and details, they will need to first register with email address, to receive a link, which will then allow that peron to add the map pin and information.
Its important that no new customer can adit any previous persons already added details.
Thats the basics of it.

    Hi Maria, should new or edited family entries appear on the map immediately, or would you like them held for admin approval before they go live?

    To get started straight away, we’d need: the WordPress site URL, a temporary limited-access WordPress account, the fields you want each family member to complete, and any preferred colours/branding or map style.

    Once those are received, we can begin immediately.

    1/ How should the family/profile information be structured? What exact information should each person be able to enter, for example, full name, family/surname, date of birth, biography, spouse, children, parents, current location, previous locations, contact information, etc.?

    2/ How should the map pin and profile relationship work? Should every person have exactly one pin, or can one person add multiple locations? If several members of the same family live in the same city/location, should they have separate pins, one combined pin, or should clicking the location show a list of people?

    3/ What should happen after a user submits their profile? Should the profile and pin appear on the map immediately, or should an administrator review and approve it first? If admin approval is required, should the user receive an email when their profile is approved, rejected, or needs changes?
