Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
According to Google developer tools, the entire speed of my website could be improved.
You will find full details here https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/
and searching www.kasakosa.com
Here's the gist of it...
Images could be compressed
--
Eliminate render blocking css and javascript in above the fold content
Your page has 11 blocking script resources and 7 blocking CSS resources.
Try to defer or asynchronously load blocking resources, or inline the critical portions of those resources directly in the HTML.
--
Leverage browser caching
Setting an expiry date or a maximum age in the HTTP headers for static resources instructs the browser to load previously downloaded resources from local disk rather than over the network.
--
Enable compression
Compressing resources with gzip or deflate can reduce the number of bytes sent over the network.
--
Improve server response time.
--
It then goes on to suggest that I CONSIDER FIXING...
Minify Javascript, Html, CSS
Compacting this code can save many bytes of data and speed up downloading, parsing, and execution time.
I would like to know what your thoughts are around this... what you would be able to do and how much it would cost??
It was a pleasure working with you last time, hopefully we can continue this relationship.
Many thanks,
Sam
