Description of requirements/features: We have two websites currently hosted on an offsite server, we are looking for a professional to help us change the website host. We want to minimise risk of service disruption to e-mails and site in the process hence requiring an expert help with this.

Specific technologies required: you need to be familiar with wordpress, wix and domains (go daddy, names cheap) and how to change hosts

Matt,
Wix cannot be transferred as it is a proprietary platform. The only thing you can do if you want to self host is migrate the wix site to wordpress like your other site. If this is an option you want to explore, advice and I will propose. -
Hi Matt
I don't think you will be able to move a wix website to elsewhere. Your Wix site and all of its content is hosted exclusively on Wix's servers. Can you please check this and let me know your views? -
