Html/CSS Programmer with Email and Marketing Skills

We’re a dynamic online marketing organisation based in Derbyshire and Herefordshire providing a dedicated customer focused solution. Recent growth in business has created a new opportunity for an experienced Email/Web Designer to join our team in a self-employed home-based position, being responsible for the HTML website and email campaigns, social media strategy and e-commerce fulfillment. As an experienced Email/Web Designer you will be responsible for design and creative work which will include generating creative ideas, working on email designs and website improvements.

Main responsibilities

Setting Up new clients onto our online marketing system, including Design for HTML email campaigns and websites
• Your main responsibility will be the design for our email campaigns and web pages. Our regular campaigns include a variety of communications such as newsletters and follow-up emails.
• Participating in the initial setup of a client onto our email and website hosting platform.
• Creating visual design concepts from scratch in Photoshop, interpreting the brief provided by us.
• Understand and use our dynamic html module to create client focused marketing communications.
• Develop adhoc website concepts and website for clients.
• Analysing results of email campaigns in collaboration with us and using this information to make recommendations on sales opportunity, new email triggers and improvements.
• Maintain our customer email and contact database and will work with other members of the team to implement a segmentation strategy.
• Design work for our website. This can be wide ranging from visual design for small areas and details of the site to concepts and ideas for brand new sections and key events.
• Present your design(s) for feedback and approval.
• Update the CMS with the signed off design.
• Participating in a monthly design update meeting with us to identify any other website design developments.
• Work with the us and other members of the web team on planning future website developments and keeping the online marketing plan.

Essential Skills
• Email/web design skills.
• A natural flair for design and creativity.
• Good knowledge of CRM.
• High level of Adobe Photoshop proficiency.
• The ability to be able to resolve creative problems using own initiative.
• High motivation and be able to demonstrate resilience when working under pressure, displaying a calm and rational approach to the task in hand.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills to ensure implementation within the required deadlines.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to deliver high-quality work to timescale, and the ability to manage and prioritise own workload.
• A genuine interest in digital design.
• Good HTML/CSS knowledge
