Experience Level: Intermediate
I'm looking to build a system to read horse racing data more effectively. I know somebody who uses to Python and data scraping to generate tables for each race in the UK and Ireland every day. Each table has a set of basic components: a horse's racing, plus some other basic indicators.
It essentially provides a basis from which to judge a race more effectively than by reading the newspaper each day.
The only issue is I'm utterly useless with coding and data scraping, and I was wondering if you might be able to help.
