Description
I need help for just 2 additional features I would like to add to the site. See below:
- When a user clicks 'Book Now' for an upcoming event from the home page - https://yololdn.com/ and the upcoming events page - https://yololdn.com/event/ they are directed to the payment page. The system needs to automatically pick up the date they have selected and display it on the payment page. The date of the event they have selected also needs to be displayed in the email that comes through to the admin email after they make a booking.
- For the events that are displayed on the home page - https://yololdn.com/ and the upcoming events page - https://yololdn.com/event/ the dates are currently static and need to be manually entered. I want these dates to be dynamic so that it displays the actual upcoming date of the Thursday following the next upcoming Thursday, once that date has passed, it will display the next Thursday. For example if the date of the next upcoming Thursday is the 13/08/2026 it will display the date of the Thursday following that (20/08/2026), all following event dates will show the dates of the following Thursdays e.g (27/08/2026 then 03/09/2026). Every Friday the dates will be refreshed to show the updated upcoming Thursdays. The idea is that users should not be able to make a booking for the next Thursday coming, bookings for each event will close 1 week prior to the event taking place.
Please get back to me with evidence that you have understood the requirements and a time and cost for completing the work.

Hi Ellis, are the event listings on the homepage and /event/ page generated from individual WordPress event/product records, or are they multiple front-end listings feeding into one shared Stripe/payment flow?
To start immediately, I need:
- Temporary WordPress admin access
- Staging access, if available
- Confirmation of the plugin/custom setup handling bookings and Stripe
- One test booking path
- Confirmation of the admin email receiving booking notifications
Once received, I can begin immediately. -

Hello Mr. Ellis C,
Just to confirm, should the system automatically hide/disable booking for the next upcoming Thursday every Friday, while carrying the selected event date through to Stripe and the admin email? I can implement this logic dynamically so no manual date updates are required.
Thanks,
Krishna

-/ How many future Thursday dates should always be displayed on the homepage and Upcoming Events page?
-/ Should all events follow exactly the same one-week booking cutoff, or could this vary later?
-/ Is the current payment page using a Stripe plugin/form or custom Stripe integration?
-/ Should the selected date also appear in the customer confirmation email, Stripe payment record/order details, and WordPress admin, or only on the payment page and admin notification email? -

Two quick questions:
1. Which WordPress booking/payment plugin is currently handling the Stripe booking flow?
2. Is the event date currently stored as a custom field, or is it entered directly into the event/page content?
-

is the current booking flow using WooCommerce/checkout, or a custom WordPress booking and Stripe integration?
