Full Stack Web Developer, Early Startup

We are seeking an experienced WordPress + Full Stack Web Developer for steady, ongoing 25-30 hours of work per week. The work is primarily for support tasks and some building of custom WordPress sites. Please read the requirements below carefully.

Agency experience preferred as candidates must be comfortable with a fast pace of communication between multiple projects as well as have verifiable experience working in WordPress and with common integrations.

Candidates must have strong communication skills and be able to simplify complex development features/options for our project managers. We need a pro, with a can-do attitude who is willing to learn new technologies (on the fly, if needed) to make projects successful and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Mon-Thu, 8am – 5pm CET
Fri, 8am – 1pm CET

- WordPress (expert level)
- Custom themes & functions
- NO reliance on templates or DIY Builders
- ACF
- Laravel
- LAMP Stack
- PHP
- Responsive HTML5 + CSS
- Bootstrap / Foundation
- SVG + CSS Animations (with work samples)
- Javascript, Jquery
- React
- JSON
- Ajax
- REST API + Integrations (with work samples)
- Git and GitHub
- Knowledge of Basic Security, 2FA, etc.
- Accessibility (WCAG + 508)
- SEO, Load Speed Optimization
- Maintenance, Monitoring

REQUIRED IT/SERVER EXPERIENCE:
- DNS Management
- C-panel, & familiarity with direct MySQL Database work if needed Staging / Production Environments, Backups, Restorations, Best Practice Workflows

REQUIRED EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE:
- ***Expert-level WordPress experience
- Degree or field-related certificate program
- 5+ years of real-world experience required
- Experience working with teams (e.g. Designers, Coordinators, Directors, etc.)
- Organized, perseverant approach to each project
