Experienced Web Developer Needed for Early-Stage Web App MVP

I am looking for an experienced freelance web developer to help build an MVP for an early-stage consumer platform.

The project involves creating a modern, responsive, user-facing web application with structured content, image-led pages, search / browsing functionality, and a clean interface based on provided Figma designs. The MVP will be used for early testing, demonstrations, and further development planning.

This is not a simple static website. I am looking for someone who can build a functional, well-structured web app with a strong technical foundation, clean front-end implementation, and sensible integration with Supabase.


*Project Scope*

The MVP is expected to include:

* A polished landing page
* Structured content pages
* Image-led profile / item pages
* Search, browsing, or filtering functionality
* Basic comparison, selection, or saved-item functionality
* Responsive layouts for desktop and mobile
* Front-end implementation from Figma designs
* Supabase integration for database, authentication, storage, and backend logic where required
* Clean, maintainable code that can be extended later

A more detailed brief, feature list, and Figma files will be shared with the selected freelancer.


*Required Skills and Experience*

Please only apply if you have strong experience with:

* *React*
* *Supabase*, including:
* PostgreSQL
* Auth
* Storage
* Edge Functions
* Building responsive, consumer-facing web applications
* Working accurately from Figma specifications
* Structuring code in a clean, maintainable way

You should also have shipped at least one real consumer-facing web app, not just internal tools, landing pages, or tutorial projects.


*Desirable Experience*

* Experience with early-stage startups or MVPs
* Experience building discovery, marketplace, lifestyle, content, or comparison-style platforms
* Good product judgement and attention to user experience
* Ability to suggest practical improvements without overcomplicating the build
* Understanding of scalable front-end structure and Supabase-backed applications

This is an early-stage project, but I would like the foundations to be built properly. There may be scope for further work if the MVP is successful. Budget is currently set at £1500 - £2000, with is some flexibility - this will be discussed further in an initial meeting and onboarding.
