Existing website remodel

We have had a nightmare with a web guy we used several years ago who after in-depth communication has disappeared off the face of the earth during the past 5 months. Discussion began in March and here we are with nothing to show for it. Fortunately, due to zero work, no funds have been handed over and are now looking for a committed web person with impeccable communication skills.

Please see our requirements as follows. We are open to further discussion and your ideas and input as the developer.

We have two websites, a translation and a beauty business. We would like the right person to take over both sites/email and host them.

The Logical Translation website is an urgent requirement to implement changes in removing some content and adding T&C's, NDA & GPDR related content. I would also be interested in looking at a form of 'Cloud/Client portal' for sharing documents where they can login, upload their content for translation and access the completed content. It needs to be safe to fall in line with GDPR and also be cost effective. I am open to suggestion.

The website layout itself will need to be a bit more smartphone ready and a bit of jiggery pockery with the layout. I would really appreciate your advice and potentialdesign strategy moving forward. It may be the case that the website isn't up to standard and needs to be completely remodelled but that's obviously for discussion with the right person.

We have the written content which we can forward in due course and a rough design based on the current website.
Once the site is in working order, it would be the case of maintaining the site ad-hoc.
