Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
NOTE: Proposals that demonstrate you have not read any of part of my job posting will simply not be responded to.
General information for the website: This is a Newsletter
Num. of web pages/modules: 1x Email Template
Description of every page/module: I am looking for a developer experienced in building email newsletters that work across the majority of the most popular readers. This includes the Gmail app and Outlook. The success of this project will be judged on the basis that the template looks optimal in both these readers.
Description of requirements/features: This is a simple newsletter.
If you look at the attachments you will see a desktop version and a version I would like to see rendered in the Gmail app and other mobile readers.
The concept is simple: On desktop the image sits to the right (or left) of the text.
In the mobile version the constrained size means the image jumps above the text to fill the entire width of the screen. The text also fills the entire width of the screen and the user simply scrolls through the content.
Extra notes: Ideally this will be delivered in a single standalone piece of HTML code owing to the mass mail client we use only accepting a single piece of HTML code.
If not, I will entertain suggestions as to alternative mass mail clients that will work well with your proposed solution.
- Please be aware that the mobile Gmail app does not allow the processing of media queries, which is why I am looking for someone to build this solution from the ground up.
- We will test the outcome in Litmus to ensure this looks good in the most popular email clients.
