Django FCM config

I have simple WebView android app, the web app is python / Django.

I am trying to set up Firebase notifications with both Android and Browsers. I am new to Firebase and also Rest framework so i need some advise on how to proceed as cannot find anything in docs that help me understand.

I have fcm-django set up and notifications send fine from the shell or if i manually store the token in the backend.

Where i need advise is how to send the token from app / browser to Django backend so i can store and send notifications as required via Django view.

Beyond that, being able to link notification to specific URL that will open in app or browser on clicking.
