Development of brand new apatment rental website

I am looking for web development resources to build an innovative apartment rental website.

There will be two main Users of the website - homeowners and travelers. Both will be able to create accounts. Homeowners can post their property including photos and details. Travelers will also be able to create an account.

The website needs to have a world-class search capability. The site should be optimized for search.

The website will be 'global' so database considerations should be in place to accommodate Users (with their country-specific addresses, etc) from everywhere.

Fee to post a home can made via the website.

Both travelers and homeowners will have rating scores and feedback left by other Users.

Database and website logic need to be able to scale for the potentially huge volume of Users and data.

There will be integration to Google Maps. Homeowners will maintain an availability calendar which will be viewable by travelers.
