We're iwoca, the first UK-based company to provide short-term loans to online sellers. We use display advertising to tell people what we do and we would like to create a new interactive leaderboard (728 x 90) to communicate our pricing better.
We have quite specific guidelines on what we want but we're also looking for someone to add some design flair.
The Brief
---
We would like a leaderboard banner which contains the headline:
"Flexible business loans dedicated to online sellers"
The main part of the banner should be dedicated to two sliders which can be used (interactively) to set the loan size and term length which the customer would like. Then the total repayment is displayed to them allowing them to understand the pricing.
The sliders should be similar to those used on www.iwoca.co.uk/amazon - including the calculation. You should be able to see this in the javascript on this page but here is the formula:
R = Total Repayment
P = Principal Taken (i.e. Loan Amount)
T = Months Loan is Taken For
R = P(1 + 0.02(T+1))
Finally there should be a call to action ('apply now') near the total repayment amount and our logo needs to be included at a size sufficient to read all the text comfortably.
Design Guidelines
---
The design should be of a similar style to that used in our current leaderboards - I have attached one of these for reference ('Standard-Text-3). However you will need to adapt this to fit the information clearly and any design improvements would be appreciated.
We understand that there is a lot of information to fit on one banner, whilst keeping the sliders large enough to be easily manipulated. Therefore we suggest making the ad dynamic so the sliders move across on mouseover and the headline is hidden.
Attached are a couple of mockups of how the banner might work. 'Sliders-Leaderboard-1' is the original banner and 'Sliders-Leaderboard-2' would be shown on mouseover (with a sliding effect).
These should only be taken as a reference and not final designs, although I can provide the photoshop files for these so the winning bidder can use some of our standard brand assets.
We are happy to provide feedback on drafts during the design process (and would encourage these being provided).
We are looking for a high quality design but also want it to be produced as quickly as possible. The price is open to negotiation.
Any questions let me know.
