Design and build WordPress site

We're looking for a UK-based freelance WordPress designer to redesign and build a clean, professional, fully responsive website for our client – a high-level consultant in the defence and public sector. The project involves selecting and customising a suitable WordPress theme (Astra preferred), and creating a modern multi-page layout from a current single-page site. Features will include:
- Select and customise a suitable WordPress theme, preferably Astra.
- Create a modern multi-page layout to create the 7 pages of the site
- Google location map integrated in the Contact page
- simple enquiry form so potential clients can request contact directly
- request simple data capture to his most popular downloads (i.e. give name and email before can view)
- connecting with his LinkedIn profile
- create blog section with 1 initial entry (content TBS to you)
- create simple case study section with 1 initial entry (content TBS to you)
- Ensure clear UX and SEO-friendly structure.

You must not use any paid plugins (such as Divi). You'll work to our supplied sitemap and content, focusing solely on design and build, while we manage strategy and client feedback.

We're an established Web Agency with a select group of regular freelance contributors - to which we're looking to add the next new member. This is an initial one-off which will lead to more regular contracts for the right fit. We communicate internally using Slack, Asana and Outlook calendars for schedules, so familiarity with these (as well as being on UK time) will be a major advantage.
