Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: 1 - 6 months
I am looking to build a solid platform for freelance writers and clients with a great looking frontend and a fully functional backend. Clients need to be able to place orders for the writer to pick up, and everything needs to run smoothly in regards to messaging each other and escrow. It will work in a very similar way to contentwriters.com however this site is unique and there's nothing like it out there at the moment. Writers and client will all be invited, it's not a freeforall, and there will be no Offers/Hourlies like there is on PPH and other microjob sites.
I have recently had a site started on which is www.anglocontent.com which has been done in AVADA theme on WP, but not even sure if it is going to work properly with what I want doing on the backend which is the main thing I'm concerned about, open to suggestions. Now I am looking for a professional web dev or team to assist in taking over the project and seeing it through to completion. The project is already significantly delayed and I have clients and writers waiting for the site to be ready on 1st May, but that is no longer possible and the new deadline is June 24th... 8 weeks from today.
The project is to be separated into different milestones as follows:
1. Transfer the site onto your own server to begin working on it
Monday 29th April - £100
2. Finish the frontend. This involves tidying up the current look and feel of the site as its basically a glorified template and looks that way too. The homepage and about us page are already there but the overall design is just really weak and needs tweaks. I have bought some stock images that you can use. There are 20 service pages to upload and make neat and tidy, similar to this one - https://www.anglocontent.com/services/blog-posts/ - and there are also a set of small icons that are needed on those pages also. In addition to the service pages, there are 40 shorter category/niche pages which are to be added to the bottom bar only but with a page of their own (for SEO purposes really). You must have some design initiative to carry this out and make it look great.
10th May- £500
3. Begin work on the backend. You can check this link to see a basic workflow of how the functionality is to operate: https://drive.google.com/open?id=112WU6sIwSZhQgwrOZ0naJfVFP6jUsutZ
It is to include multiple features of how content orders can be assigned and created, and how the clients and writers interact with each other, both will need their own dashboards fully operational, client will fill in a brief/form for the content which will be displayed to the writer There needs to be a messaging feature, integration of Copyscape API to check the content, a full and secure escrow system in place and more. Everything needs to work seamlessly and I will be looking for your professional input on what I should doing.
All of this is to be completed by 27th May - £1200
4. Extensive testing is to take place with live writers and clients sending orders back and forth to make sure everything works with the system, especially the escrow.
10th June everything should have been tested properly and working - £500
5. Final touches including the How It Works page, uploading/scheduling 20 blog posts to the blog section, making sure everything is exactly how I want it to be to the last detail. Site should be totally complete with no further work needing doing to it.
To be done by 17th June - £300
Site will be going live on the 24th June, and of course there will be ongoing longterm opportunity to make things better on the site as it evolves.
I would prefer to work with a UK or US web dev or team, just so there are no communication issues and you understand exactly what I mean when I say something. Attached is a sample of a service page, a niche page and a list of T&Cs I've put together that you need to read before applying, and then quote the word in your application.
Hope to hear from some real talent here on the site, just as I provide my own PPH buyers being #1 in the Writing category on this site's leaderboard for over 2 years. I have hired a Talent Scout for this project to ensure that my new site is completed correctly this time around.
